Bird Room

We stayed in the Bird Room at Anchorage Farm Bed & Breakfast in Pine, Colorado. All the rooms are named after animals seen around the farm. They are decorated using that animal as the theme. We received a very nice booklet on the birds around the farm. Each bird is associated with a character trait and is considered a sign or omen. There are birds of all types in the room. From those on the wallpaper to a taxidermy owl (with only one foot), to knick knacks and lamp stands, to plush stuffed birds. There is even a rubber ducky in the bath tub. It is hard to pick the most unusual. Is it the tree branches with birds perched in it or the chicken coop or the black bird in the closet? You decide.
