There was a sign in Linesville, PA for a Corvette and classic car cruise on May 21. Too bad we are going to miss it. Route 6 goes nearly straight west after we cross the Pennsylvania - Ohio border. We have been watching the "Do 6" mileage signs all the way across the state so say goodbye with this last sign.
Inspired by Fallingwater, we tried to see the Louis Penfield house. We didn't find it. The house at the address we had is definitely not designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. Karen and Bob stopped for lunch at a place called Local Tavern in Willoughby Hills, OH (city where the Louis Penfield house is). They said the food was really good. Karen had a fancy (and very tasty) grilled cheese and even better tomato bisque.
Route 6 runs right through the eastern 'burbs of Cleveland then on through downtown. We pulled into the Radisson, located right downtown. Bob and Karen wanted to stay close to the Cleveland Indians Progressive Field so they can go to a game (yeah that baseball thing again). That just means I get to spend the night by myself. Karen took me on a long walk in search of grass and Jameson for Bob. Well we found the Jameson but we never really found a good grassy spot. Boy is urban living different. So many interesting sights, loud noises and so many people - not all of them seemed to like me. I did meet some nice humans but no canines. How do city dogs do it?
