The humans were all a twitter this morning. They kept saying "snow". I don't think I've heard that word before. I was wondering what it could be when my master said "Let's go out". Those are my favorite words. I go out and it is cold. The wind is blowing my hair all around. There is this white, wet stuff all over. What is it? It doesn't have much smell or taste. It gets stuck in bunches in my hair. I'm not quite sure what to think of it.
The white stuff got all over the Corvette. My master and I went to look. He seemed so sad. I hear we are staying another day. Let me see.....nice warm house with comfy couches or cold bumpy car..... Yippee!
We are having a lazy day when Mary brings baby Shay over to stay awhile. Now I finally get to see what all the fuss is about. She is small for a human, almost my size. My master can't stop holding her and talking to her even though she doesn't talk back. She smells nice and is very cuddly. I see why everyone is raving about her. What a wonderful addition to our family.
Bob made Italian beef sandwiches for dinner. It smelled wonderful. I almost got a taste of my master's test bite but he was too quick for me. Mary came back with Layna to pick up Shay. Layna is lots of fun. It was good to see her again. There was more talking and laughing and before I knew it, we were off to bed.
